On February 28, 2023, the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) of India and HTMi Hotel and Tourism Management Institute of Switzerland announced a partnership aimed at providing Indian students and professionals in the hospitality and tourism sector with international pathways, internships, and placements. Speaking at the event, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressed his confidence that India would soon become the global skills hub, thanks to the government's investment in education and skill development. He praised HTMi for its excellence in hospitality education and training, and expressed hope that the partnership with NSDC would enhance the quality and standards of skills training in India, and enable more people to access global opportunities.
