The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 is now live. The QS World University Rankings: Sustainability was founded with a pilot edition in the end of 2022, even before the initial full-fledged Ranking in 2023. The Rankings are used to recognize the contributions of which institutions are showing their commitment to existence, while still engaging in a variety of factors across environmental, social, and governance (ESG) measures.

Nations Improving Across ESG Metrics
With 78 universities ranked and 57% of them improving their Environmental Impact score he Indian higher education sector has shown a significant improvement in the country. On the other hand, while they are getting better, the top 200 list has only six Indian colleges.
It is incredible that 92% of the Portuguese universities successfully improved the aspect of their social impact. Driving them to the top of the national ranking was the great performance of the Knowledge Exchange program and the indices of Staff Perception and Policy Citations.
