The best way to meet like-minded peers and develop your social and professional network is by joining a club or society on campus. Macquarie University has over 140 different clubs to choose from, including social networking clubs, sports clubs, drama, performing arts, political clubs, culture clubs, and so much more. You could even find your own club with the help of the Student HQ at Macquarie.
Popular sports clubs at Macquarie include: Water polo, volleyball, frisbee, table tennis, swimming, squash, soccer, rugby, rowing, skiing, hockey, fencing, dance, cricket, cheerleading, and AFL. The University also provides learning courses in Fencing, Squash and Volleyball.

The Iglu apartments offer both shared apartments and private studio apartments, and all apartments have ensuite bathrooms and are fully furnished. Iglu apartments are located only a 13-minute train ride to the Macquarie University campus, in Chatswood.

Morling Residential College
The Morling Residential College is a 100-bed student accommodation provider, in Macquarie Park and located only a 5-minute walk from the University. All rooms are fully air conditioned, include ensuites kitchens, weekly cleaning and free WIFI and is fully catered with three meals from Monday-Friday.

The Robert Menzies College has 300 fully furnished rooms, across a six, three-storey residential block. It is located on the Macquarie University campus, right next to the Macquarie train station.
