  • The Royal Roads University is a public university nestled in Colwood, British Columbia. It was built on the former Royal Roads Military College (RRMC) land at Hatley Park National Historic Site on Vancouver Island.
  • In 1995 the government of British Columbia had to shut down the Royal Roads Military College and created Royal Roads University as a public university with an applied and professional degree-granting focus.
  • The Royal Roads University has over 25,620 students in different fields like leadership, business, environment, communication, tourism, hospitality and social justice working in 60 different countries around the globe.
  • The University's main building, Hatley Castle, was completed in 1908 for coal and rail baron James Dunsmuir, Premier of British Columbia and then Lieutenant Governor during the first decade of the 1900s.

Scholarships

  • Royal Road University offers various funding and scholarships opportunities for international students every year. Each scholarship carries particular eligibility criteria and application process.
  • Royal Roads Entrance Award/Bursary: The scholarship is awarded to enrolling students with excellence in academics to reduce the financial burden. The scholarship offers six awards of $2,000 -$5,000.
