  • SIAST has 4 campus - Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Saskatoon and Regina, offering various courses and programs.
  • Four individual schools combined up together to form Saskatchewan Polytechnic:
    • The Moose Jaw campus was founded as Saskatchewan Technical Institute in 1959.
    • Saskatoon campus started as the Central Saskatchewan Technical Institute in 1963.
    • Regina Campus was founded by the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Arts and Science in 1972.
    • The Regional college act and the Institute act lead in merging Saskatchewan's Technical Institute, college and community advance Technology Training Center to form the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology. Later, on 24 September 2014, the institution was named Saskatchewan Polytechnic
  • Saskatchewan Polytechnic is awarded the Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching and Applied Research Award of Excellence.
