  • Established in 1920, named the University College of Swansea, it was the fourth college of the University of Wales. Later, in 1996 the University was titled the University of Wales Swansea.

Singleton Park Campus

Bay Campus

  • The Bay campus is located at Crymlyn Burrows on a 65-acre seaside location between Fabian Way and Jersey Marine Beach.
  • The campus is home to the College of Engineering and the School of Management and a Great Hall seating 800 people, a library featuring views of a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and student accommodation.
  • The UK's first Energy Safety Research Institute and the Institute of Structural Materials, which houses the University Technology Centre for Rolls Royce materials testing, are among the projects going to campus.

On-Campus Accommodation

Singleton Campus

  • Singleton Campus is conveniently located between Singleton Hospital, the sports complex, and Swansea Bay.
  • This complex's of 1182 rooms are a mix of Standard and En-suite rooms, Self & Part-Catered / Pre-Paid Dining 1st years, Returning, Medical, and Postgraduate students can live here.
  • The rooms are equipped with free internet, a common area, a mailroom and help desk, launderettes, and other amenities are available at both of these locations.

Bay Campus

  • Bay Campus Offers premium en-suites, twin/shared En-suite rooms, and 1 & 2 bedroom apartments.
  • The residential Hall can accommodate more than 2000 students and is available to first-year, postgraduate, and returning students. Students from the College of Engineering, the School of Management, and the Computational Foundry will live in this residence.

Off-Campus Accommodation
