The University offers more than 100 programs at its four campuses. Two of the campuses, Peterborough and Durham Greater Toronto Area, are known for their infrastructure and outstanding location.

Symons Campus

  • Trent University's Symons campus is located on the bank of the Otonabee River. It is known for its spectacular view of nature.
  • The 1400 acres Symons campus offers a wide range of academic programs in science, arts and professional programs such as business, law, medicine and many more.
  • The campus is home to approximately 8,753 undergraduate students, which includes around 1000 international students from 79 different countries.
  • Symons campus is just 90 minutes' drive away from Toronto downtown. More than 12 buses run on a daily basis from Symons campus to Toronto.

Trent GTA Campus

  • Trent University's Durham GTA campus is located in the City of Oshawa in the Durham region.

Durham

  • Durham campus offers education to students on a personal scale with an 18:1 student-faculty ratio making it the best student-faculty ratio in Ontario.
  • Trent's Durham campus offers unique programs such as Journalism and Creative Writing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Communication, Child and Youth Studies and Policing & Community Well-Being along with major programs such as Business Administration, Law, Psychology, English, Sociology, Philosophy and Social Work.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Trent University offers scholarships and awards based on academic achievements and co-curricular activities. Following are the lists of scholarships:

Entrance Scholarships and Awards

Trent University offers entrance scholarships for international students based on academic excellence. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship regardless of the co-curricular. It is a one-time merit-based undergraduate scholarship. The scholarships value ranges from $1000 to $3000.

IB Entrance Scholarships

International students applying for admission to Trent University based on an IB diploma are by default considered for the IB Entrance Scholarship. Students applying for this scholarship should have completed an IB diploma. The value of the IB Entrance Scholarship is $1000.

Trent Global Citizen Scholarship Program

The Trent Global Citizen Scholarships is awarded to international students with financial need having outstanding academic achievement along with involvement in community service, and students must have leadership quality. Following are the global citizen

Accomodation

On-Campus

  • Trent University offers residential halls configured with single, double and triple occupancy rooms along with meal plans according to student's need.
  • Accommodation and Meal expense ranges $ 9,232 - $14,108 annually

Off-Campus

  • Students at Trent University can choose to stay off-campus. The University's off-campus housing service assists students with local information, available accommodation lists.
  • Students can stay in homestays with a Canadian family and experience Canadian culture.
