Campus Locations

City Flinders Campus

  • The City Finder campus of Victoria University is housed in Melbourne's Central Business District, just opposite to Melbourne's iconic train stations, i.e. Flinders Street Station.
  • The City Flinders campus offers special courses such as osteopathy and business.
  • The campus is conveniently located within walking distance of trams, buses and trains, close to several cafes and restaurants.

City Flinders Lane Campus

  • The City Flinders Lane campus is located adjacent to the City Flinders campus.
  • The campus is home to the International Office, Osteopathy clinic, and Nutrition clinic. City King Campus
  • The City King campus of Victoria University is located in close proximity to Melbourne's biggest railway and transport hub - Southern Cross Station.
  • Popular courses offered at this campus include hairdressing, beauty, massage, and training and assessment.

City Queen Campus

  • The City Queen campus is located at Melbourne's legal precinct, consisting of two main buildings and two smaller buildings, including moot courts, computer laboratory, and library. Footscray Nicholson
  • The Footscray Nicholson Campus is located within walking distance from the Footscray Station. The campus majorly focuses on TAFE courses.

  • Footscray Park campus

    • The Footscray Park campus is the main campus of Victoria University, and also it is the oldest and largest amongst the rest of the campuses.

    St Albans campus

    • The St Albans campus is a center for University's health and nutrition research and also state-of-the-art research centers.

    • The Sunshine Campus of Victoria University is home to a world-class trade training center, known as "Construction Futures", since 2012.
    • The campus offers courses in the construction trade, engineering and a Western Modern English Program.
    • The campus is awarded a 6-star green star rating. It is only the 3rd Victorian building to achieve this certification.
    • The campus is also home to the Sunshine convention center, the primary conference center in the Melbourne Western suburbs.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Victoria University offers more than 500 scholarships for students every year. Following are the main scholarships offered:

The VU Dean's Scholarship

The VU Dean's Scholarship is offered to high-achieving international students enrolled in full-time master programs in Business, Engineering, IT, Project Management, Public Health, and Counselling. The scholarship is valued at $3,000-$6,000 per year.

Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship

The Research Training Program Stipend Scholarship assists International students pursuing postgraduate courses in Australia. Students with high academics are preferred to be awarded this scholarship. The total scholarship value is $27,600 per year.

VU College Diploma Merit Scholarship

  • The VU College Diploma Merit Scholarship rewards International students pursuing a higher education diploma in Business (Enterprise), Information Technology or Engineering. The scholarship is valued at $2,000 and is offered in the second semester of study.
  • Eligibility: Scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement with a minimum distinction in every unit in the first semester of the diploma course at Victoria University.

VU International Postgraduate Research Scholarship

The VU International postgraduate scholarship is for International students who have excellent academic qualifications and want to pursue postgraduate research programs in Australia. The scholarship is awarded based on academic achievement. The total value of the scholarship is $27,600 per year.

Accomodation

On-Campus

  • On-Campus accommodation is available at Victoria University. The University offers students safe and secure accommodation options along with student housing services.
  • The University's official accommodation partner-Unilodge offers purpose-built student accommodation apartments in Footscray, Melbourne CBD and other locations across Melbourne. UniLodge apartments include 515 rooms in self-contained apartments, with common areas for recreation and study purposes.
  • The University's accommodation offers fully furnished student apartments for single or shared accommodation with laundry service.

Off-Campus

  • Off-campus accommodation is also in the form of rooming houses and hostels for students. Students can enjoy individual rooms and share common house facilities.
