Campus Locations

Clayton campus

  • Established in 1958, Clayton Campus is the largest campus of Monash University, educating over 30,000 students per year.
  • Clayton University is home to eight faculties such as Faculty of Arts, Business & Economics, Education, IT, Law, Medicine, Nursing and Health Science.
  • The campus is located adjacent to various scientific research facilities such as the Australian Synchrotron and CSIRO.

Caulfield campus

  • Established in 1992, the Caulfield campus is the second-largest campus of Monash University, located nine kilometers to the southeast of Melbourne.

Peninsula campus

Parkville campus

  • The Parkville Campus of Monash University is located in the suburbs of Parkville, around 2 km to the north of Melbourne CBD.

Accomodation – On Campus

On-Campus Accommodation

Monash University offers students a range of On-campus student accommodation at their Clayton, Berwick and Peninsula campuses in Victoria. Students willing to stay on-campus have the following two options:

Halls of residence

  • All rooms in the Halls of Residence include a single bed, a desk, chair and a wardrobe. The rooms also feature fridges, microwaves and cooktops, where students can also choose to cook and make their own meals in their rooms.
  • Each floor includes a shared kitchen space, laundry and a Resident Advisor (RA) who is responsible for the student's welfare.
  • The Halls of Residence provide a great atmosphere and environment that encourages and supports interaction with student residents. Shared flats and houses
  • Clayton campus and Peninsula campus offer shared flats and houses such as South East Flats and Peninsula Residential Village.
  • Shared flats and house sharing gives students the option of sharing living spaces with friends. Shared accommodation options include two-five bedrooms options.

Off-Campus Accommodation

Students studying at Monash University can also opt for off-campus accommodation, students can seek support from Monash Residential Services for guidance on renting accommodation and lease agreement.
