Tampa Campus

Sarasota -Manatee Campus

  • The Sarasota-Manatee Campus established in 1975, sharing its campus with the New College of Florida.

The University of South Florida offers freshman and transfer scholarship on the basis of student's merit. International students can apply for this scholarship while submitting the application

Freshman Scholarships

  • International Students can apply for freshman scholarships and can bag the highest awarded after qualifying within the provided timeline. Following are some of the freshman scholarships.
    • USF Green & Gold Presidential Award
    • Award Value: $48,000 (up to $12 per annum)
      Eligibility: GPA - 3.90 and above, SAT score 1340 and above (Reading, Writing and Math)

    • USF Green & Gold Directors Award
    • Award Value: $36,000 (up to $9 per annum)
      Eligibility: GPA - 3.70 and above, SAT score 1280 and above (Reading, Writing and Math)

    • USF Green & Gold Scholars Award
    • Award Value: $24,000 (up to $6 per annum)
      Eligibility: GPA - 3.50 and above, SAT score 1210 and above (Reading, Writing and Math)

    • USF International Students Scholarships
    • Award Value: $4,000 (up to $1 per annum)
      Eligibility: GPA - 3.30 and above, SAT score 1180 and above (Reading, Writing and Math)

Accomodation

On-Campus Accommodation

  • The University of South Florida offers on-campus accommodation in the 39 residential halls accommodating 5,600 students.
  • The University has various accommodation types such as traditional suite, apartments also the University offers accommodation facilities for family housing, female-only housing and graduate housing.
  • Accommodation at Tampa campus has fully-furnished bedrooms with a dresser, desk & chair and closet space.

Off-Campus Accommodation

  • Off-campus accommodation is available near to Tampa campus, and there are various residents' types such as studio apartment, single apartment and 2-4 bedrooms apartments.
  • The average rent ranges from $500 to $900 per month.
