Campus

The University of Illinois Chicago has one of the most ethnically and culturally rich diverse campuses in the country.
The University’s East campus is located at the Near west side towards the south of Greektown and is just 15 min walk away from downtown Chicago.
The famous east campus is designed by Walter Netsch in the Brutalist style. The campus has second-story walkways connecting to all of the buildings.
The West campus is close to the east campus at Near West Side and is the oldest campus with some buildings of Collegiate gothic style.
The West campus is home to the college of pharmacy, medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health and applied health sciences.
The West Campus and University of Illinois Medical Centre are located in the Illinois Medical District.
The University campus is connected via Chicago Transit Authority’s Blue Line; three of the blue line stations are located close to the University’s campus. The pink line serves the west campus.

Scholarships

Accomodation

The University of Illinois Chicago offers accommodation on-campus at its nine residence halls. East campus has four residence halls, west campus and south campus have three residential halls each.
East campus has common west, and common east as the traditional accommodation with double rooms opening to common pathways shared washroom and kitchen.
West Campus offers housing as single student residence (apartment-style) and Polk Street residence (cluster style rooms)
South campus has apartment-style residence halls known as Marie Ronisobn, Thomas Beckham and newly opened James Stukel Tower.
The University has recently opened Academic Residential Complex (ARC), this building has huge lecture halls, a discussion section, meeting rooms and student housing, along with a gym and Starbucks.
